El cantante de los Bee Gees ha sido diagnosticado con cáncer de hígado a los 61 años

The Bee Gees singer Robin Gibb is battling liver cancer, according to reports.
Gibb, who was reported to be suffering from stomach pains last month and was said to be in hospital receiving treatment for the inflammation of his colon, was diagnosed with the illness several months ago, reports the Mirror.
The 61-year-old singer has since cancelled several public appearances and was taken to hospital this week by ambulance, and his family have flown to the UK from America to be by his side once he was allowed home.
A family friend said:
Robin is not good and there is a lot of concern for him. You can use your wealth to call in the best experts but sometimes no amount of fame, prestige and money can change things when it comes to cancer. But Robin is a strong character, he is a fighter and has been encouraged by all the online messages from his fans. Dwina [his wife] is doing everything possible and hasn't left his side.
They went on to add: "There will be difficult times ahead but Robin will never give up and his living family will make sure he has everything he needs.
"There is frustration ahead because Robin has always looked after himself. He doesn't drink, eats well and exercises daily."
Gibb had sparked concerns over his health earlier this year when he was forced to cancel scheduled live dates because of stomach pains. His spokesperson admitted they had been "worried" and were uncertain if he was suffering from a recurrence of his previous problems.
In 2010, he had undergone emergency surgery and had part of his after he suffered stomach pains while performing in Belgium.
In 2003, Gibb's twin brother Maurice died from complications arising from a twisted intestine.
