In 2008, the band reformed, with former Divine Heresy singer Tommy "Vext" Cummings on vocals.[8] Tommy Cummings and Sonny Mayo left the band, and a new band, "Tons", was formed in 2009. Tons recorded three brand new songs titled "Ability & Control", "1000 Ways of Pain" and "Fan The Flames". Recently in 2012, it was reveled that the band would be playing shows in Australia according to Facebook page of the band (hed) p.e. It was also reveled that Jared the vocalist of (hed) p.e. would be performing on vocals for these shows in Australia. Jared who was good friends with Lynn Strait said according to Facebook that it is an honor to be playing in his friends band and he looks forward to playing these shows.
