Nuevo disco de Nightwatchman

Tras firmar con New West Records a principios de año, Tom Morello lanzará su tercer disco bajo el nombre de The Nightwatchman. El 30 de agosto es el día escogido para que vea la luz "Wide Rebel Songs"

Para este álbum, Morello se aleja de su vertienete más acústica y contará con una banda creada para la ocasión llamada The Freedom Fighter Orchestra (formada por Dave Gibbs al bajo, Carl Restivo a la guitarra y piano, Chris Joyner al teclado y Eric Gardner a la batería)

Según Tom Morello, “Troubled times call out for troubled songs. World Wide Rebel Songs is an album of rousing hopelessness and this time The Nightwatchman has brought along his electric guitar to tip the scales. I wanted to capture a vibe midway between Johnny Cash and Che Guevara, murder ballads and Molotov anthems.”
