Nightwish frontwoman Anette Olzon has formed a new band with Within Temptation keyboard player Martijn Spierenburg.
The as yet unnamed outfit are currently working on their debut album.
"I have recorded one song that is with Martijn for mixing at the moment and I look forward to hearing it soon," says Olzon. "The project album is also being discussed with record labels at the moment and as soon as we know more I promise to tell you who else will be involved!"
In related news, Nightwish keyboard player Tuomas Holopainen has announced that he's completed work on the demos for the follow-up to Nightwish's 2007 album, Dark Passion Play.
The band plan to record the album between July and September in Finland and the album is expected to surface in 2011.
