Dice tito trent que ya tiene un par de temas nuevos para estrenar y que als viejas las adaptarán a la nueva formación, eso puede ser interesante...

Speaking to NME about the possibility of fans hearing new material during the festival sets, Reznor said: "There isn't any new material to play except from a couple of tracks Adrian (Belew, King Crimson guitarist and new member of Nine Inch Nails) and I started experimenting on that were intended to go on a greatest hits record. We decided to push that back to 2014, and there's no new record scheduled at this point."

Elsewhere in the interview, Reznor spoke about the make-up of Nine Inch Nails live shows and what fans should expect. "The intention is to reconstruct songs based on this new instrumentation and only play songs we as a band feel good about. With Nine Inch Nails last time, I felt that I'd explored that kind of bludgeoning rock thing in a lot of different ways, like I'd done everything I could do with that format."

esto vaa molar señores!

lo malo es q no hay disco nuevo!

Eric Avery se ha acojonado cuando ha visto el número de conciertos que tenía por delante y ha dejado la banda

"It's with very mixed emotions I tell you all that I'm pulling out of NINE INCH NAILS.

"I know. It's been a tough call and I don't know if it's the right one. But I really want to focus on my musical life here in Los Angeles, on film work in particular. As the tour dates kept growing...¦ I just got overwhelmed.

"I just got home from a year of heavy travel with GARBAGE, [and] the idea of leaving town for another year and a half, and with all the intensity that NAILS demands...¦ Fortunately, my friend Trent understands all this and appreciated my pulling the plug now instead of deep into 2013 and 14.

"Go get 'em, gentlemen."

Pues a Robin Finck! reir

I am proud to announce that the tour lineup now includes the incredible Robin Finck. The addition of Robin to the mix of players I've assembled makes this band incredibly powerful and versatile. We are deep in the rehearsal process and it feels exciting and great to be back at this. Lots of information, surprises and sweat headed your way. Stay tuned!

TR.

Dave Navarro le tiene mucho cariño a Eric Avery por lo visto...

Speaking on the latest episode of Navarro's online radio show "Dark Matter", the guitarist said: "I'm looking forward to the 12-hour YouTube session of [Eric] dishing the dirt on why [he quit NINE INCH NAILS]. 'Once again I am mesmerized by my inability to follow through with anything.'"

Navarro continued: "This guy has constantly talked shit about me, Stephen [Perkins, JANE'S ADDICTION drummer] and Perry [Farrell, JANE'S ADDICTION vocalist], and quit our band twice to, quote unquote, pursue all of these really intense solo creative artistic outputs. All these different mediums that he's going to, get into or whatever, where is it? Where's all the shit that he's doing? I don't know. I wouldn't be so vocal about it if he didn't do a feature-length film talking shit about all three of us."

He added: "[Avery] quits JANE'S. He got thrown out of GARBAGE, he got rehired by GARBAGE, he's in NAILS, now he's out of NAILS. I mean, what the fuck is the problem here? You know what I mean? Me, Perk and Perry have managed to put everything aside for 30 years."

He concluded: "The guy's entitled to do whatever the fuck he wants to do, and it's fine, but keep your fucking mouth shut. I don't really care. You can quit every band in the world...¦

"Here's the thing. I'm talking mad shit. The reason why is he opened the door. He opened the door with the feature-length film. He goes to people that I know and work with in the music business to talk shit about me and Stephen. He talks to people who work at musical equipment manufacturers, like that shit's not going to get back to us? Come on. It's just pussy shit, whatever.

"I don't wish him any harm. I have a lot of fond memories with him. But if you're going to fucking open your mouth about the inner workings and dynamics of something that has been very, very good to you for a lot of years, and then not follow through on anything else, you've got it coming."

El nuevo disco está acabado y saldrá este año!

Además, el grupo ha fichado por Columbia Records

I've been less than honest about what I've really been up to lately. For the last year I've been secretly working non-stop with Atticus Ross and Alan Moulder on a new, full-length Nine Inch Nails record, which I am happy to say is finished and frankly fucking great. This is the real impetus and motivation behind the decision to assemble a new band and tour again. My forays into film, HTDA and other projects really stimulated me creatively and I decided to focus that energy on taking Nine Inch Nails to a new place. Here we go!

Pero qué está pasando aquí?? Adrian Belew ha dejado NIN también...

Este era su mensaje inicial...

ey folks, before this goes too far let me say this: I greatly respect trent and the music he makes. no one is at fault. we both agreed it just was not working. I'm sorry to disappoint anyone. that really hurts. but NIN will do an amazing show and I am back where I belong: creating FLUX.

Que ha cambiado por este...

concerning me being part of the 2013 Nine Inch Nails band:

it didn't work.

Una entrevista con la KROQ...

On the creation of Hesitation Marks and why he chose to keep its release a secret...¦

It started a year and half ago or so. I still owe Interscope a greatest hits record. There was talk about doing a couple new tracks for the compilation under NIN header. And this was coming out of the couple of scores I filmed and working with How to Destroy Angels. I started tinkering with a couple songs for Nine Inc Nails. I felt inspired by what's happening. A couple songs led to a couple more songs and pretty soon it was a full-fledged, ...˜let's make an album.' I chose not to announce that because I wasn't sure what was going to happen. If I even wanted to release it when it was finished. It wasn't really a plan. It was seizing the moment of inspiration and just running with it.

Whether lead single ...œCame Back Haunted... is indicative of the rest of the album...¦

With this record I didn't go into it with an agenda of it's going to be this or that. I sat down from a very pure place and just went with what feels right, and songs started coming out. Generally, I would say this album is more electronic in nature that was more exciting to me than loud banging drums. The Slip was very much made to sound like it was in a garage with loud banging drums. This record was much more electronic for a lack of a better word.

...˜Came Back Haunted' is familiar, it's very self-referential and purposely. I think that's the most like that there is on that record. It felt like the biggest moment I can remember in Nine Inch Nails history in terms of feeling like people were aware of it.

On the reason he signed with a major label (Columbia) for the album's release...¦

It felt like the right thing to do. I'm catching some slack from a DIY camp, but I never signed up to say, ...˜hey, I'm the spokesperson for that sort of thing.'

I was spending a lot of time thinking about thinking about stuff that wasn't music. I was spending a lot of time thinking about marketing, how to engage fans, and how to price point. I found I could do it, but I'd rather not do it. A lot of effort goes into it, a lot of thought, and it's time not going toward writing music and thinking about things that mean more to me.

Regarding the recent departures of Adrian Belew and Eric Avery...¦

It's been disruptive. You know when I started off with an idea of who would be in the band and we started working that way. And you realize you can spend a lot of time, like I've done, hypothesizing and imagining and projecting as to what it's going to be like with this chemistry and this recipe of people in a room playing music. And in reality, it rarely is that. You know, it turned out to be something different and in the case of a couple people in the band some switches were made and it's turned into something different. Much like any creative endeavor it does go through that path of how you think it's going to be and how it ends up being. It's felt a wrench in the works at time, but at the same time it's made me rethink a lot of how we put this together and I think where we're ending up at a place that's much truer to where Nine Inch Nails should be and better in the long run.
