El ex-vocalista de ANIMAL ALPHA, Agnete Kjølsrud se unió al grupo de blackmetal sinfónico Dimmu Borgir para interpretar el tema "Gateways" en el concierto que dieron el 18 de octubre 2010 en Sentrum Scene, Oslo. La actuación fué filmada por un fan.
En una reciente entrevista Shagrath, cantante de Dimmu Borgir comentó sobre la colaboración de Kjølsrud en el último disco de la banda noruega que él es un gran fan, tanto de Animal Alpha como de Djerv (su nueva banda) y buen amigo de Kjølsrud y no descarta futuras colaboraciones entre ellos.
Kjølsrud ha comentado, "Los chicos de Dimmu han depositado mucha confianza en mí y estoy muy orgulloso de haber participado en el album."

As of March 12, 2009, Animal Alpha has disbanded. On their website and myspace, a press release was posted, saying that the band "found themselves in a creative deadlock while preparing for their third album and after evaluating the situation decided to call it quits." At least two of the band members will be pursuing solo careers or other projects.
