AFI will finish up their new album with producer Joe McGrath, who also produced their 2003 effort ‘Sing the Sorrow‘. The band had been in the studio with David Bottrill (Tool, Silverchair). In a recent interview with Billboard, front-man Davey Havok stated,
“The songs, for me, seem a little bit more refined and defined—a bit more straightforward. They’re not punk rock songs like from one of our early-90s records, but theres more rock-leaning on this album.”
