A host of singers and musicians from the rock, pop and classical worlds join together on the same stage to pay tribute to the Queen on the occasion of her Diamond Jubilee. The brainchild of Gary Barlow, the live concert features Jessie J, Kylie Minogue, Robbie Williams, JLS, Elton John, Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey, Jools Holland, Annie Lennox, Madness, Paul McCartney, Cliff Richard, Ed Sheeran, Stevie Wonder and Grace Jones, all performing their most popular songs. Also appearing are opera star Alfie Boe, American soprano Renee Fleming and virtuoso pianist Lang Lang, alongside the BBC Concert Orchestra, while hosts for the evening include Lenny Henry, Miranda Hart, Rob Brydon and Lee Mack. The performance concludes with the Queen lighting the National Beacon, the last in a network of 4,000 lamps across the UK to celebrate the jubilee.
