GUNS N' ROSES is among the artists that will be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame at its 27th annual ceremony on April 14, 2012 in Cleveland, Ohio, home to the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame And Museum. Also scheduled to be inducted are RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, BEASTIE BOYS, THE SMALL FACES/FACES, Donovan and Laura Nyro. Freddie King well enter the Hall Of Fame as an Early Influence, while the late producer and TV host Don Kirshner will receive the Ahmet Ertegun (nonperformer) Award and producers Cosimo Matassa, Tom Dowd and Glyn Johns will receive the Award For Musical Excellence.

El grupo actual emitió un comunicado oficial colectivo:
"So close yet still far away from the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame. Congratulations to all the 2012 inductees and our sincerest thanks to the Hall's organizers, committee members and voting delegates who supported the GN'R induction — it's a humbling honor to be recognized on this first ballot."

Parece ser que la reunión está cerca, pero sería con Duff y Slash, dejando fuera a Izzy y al loser de Steven Adler (y por lo visto manteniendo a los integrantes de los Guns actuales)
He told the LA Times: "The only thing that would make it would be Duff and Slash, really. It's nothing against Izzy and it's nothing against Steven, or anything like that.
"Steven may want it, but these guys I'm working with right now, they work really hard and it's hard work. I've toured with the other guys and I've also seen what they've done since, and I just know the difficulties. So it's not really even a full reunion."
Steven Adler se suicida después de esto... lo de Izzy no lo entiendo con lo colegas que eran.
Según Dizzy Reed toda la formación original estará ahí...
"I know that all the original band is going to be there," keyboardist Dizzy Reed, the longest-standing member of the current GNR and an inductee that night, tells Billboard.com. "I don't know exactly what's going to go down. It's one of those things I'm sure will all come together and be really cool. I'm just going to go in with a good attitude and a clear head and a grateful heart."

La especialidad de Frusciante era más la heroína, jeje. Aunque me gusta esa actitud de plantar a los snobs de RnR Hall of Fame, que eso es en plan "la hoguera de las vanidades" del Rock and Roll.
