[b:ugqukykh]The Damned Things[/b:ugqukykh] is an American heavy metal supergroup composed of Joe Trohman and Andy Hurley of Fall Out Boy, Keith Buckley of Every Time I Die, Scott Ian and Rob Caggiano of Anthrax and David Karon.[1] Andy Hurley announced on his Twitter that their first album is due out sometime this autumn. The band will have its debut show on the second stage at the Download Festival on June 13, 2010.
This is the first time in almost a decade since Joe Trohman and Andy Hurley had played as members of a metal band, Trohman's last being Arma Angelus until 2002 and Hurley's last possibly being Racetraitor until 1999 (which are actually both metalcore bands).

Algo había oído pero no estaba seguro de que hubiesen limado todas las asperezas, despues de lo mal que se portaron con él queda claro que Bush tiene muchas tragaderas y la pela es la pela. Seguro que Anthrax recupera reputación con su retorno aunque esto deje otra vez en standby a Armored Saint.
Por cierto ¿se sabe si ha accedido Bush a regrabar esos temas que ya tenían grabados con Dan Nelson?
The Damned Things have added Josh Newton of Every Time I Die fame to their lineup as their new bassist. He replaces David Karron, who previously held the position. As previously reported, the band, who also feature Every Time I Die vocalist Keith Buckley along with members of Anthrax and Fall Out Boy, recently posted rough mixes of two new songs online via their Myspace. A new album from the group is being prepared for a release through Island/Def Jam.

Suenan de puta madre la verdad. Yo, particularmente, odio a muerte a Fall Out Boy, Anthrax nunca me han hecho ni fu ni fa (cosas de la edad supongo...) y, afirmo con rotundidad, cualquier cosa que haga Keith Buckley me produce una sobreexcitación instantánea (aunque me mola más su faceta berreadora de Every Time I Die, la verdad...). Veremos que tal todo el disco, pero la cosa pinta muy bien...

pues la verdad es que le tengo muchísimas ganas a este disco. Po rlo escuchado la verdad es que me seguro me la va a poner muy dura. La voz siempre me ha gustado y por supuesto siento debilidad por Anthrax y Scott Ian en particular.
