CAPRICORN, the band featuring Phil Caivano (guitars/vocals; ex-MONSTER MAGNET), Philthy "Animal" Taylor (drums; ex-MOTÖRHEAD), Corey Parks (bass; DIE HUNNS, ex-NASHVILLE PUSSY) and Todd Youth (guitar; THE CHELSEA SMILES, ex-DANZIG), has begun writing and rehearsing in Los Angeles in preparation for the recording of its debut album in August and tour dates to follow in fall.
Says Youth, "Me and Phil have been talking about doing a band for ages, and now we've been able to put together our dream lineup with Philthy and Corey. Philthy is one of my favorite drummers, and Corey needs no introduction — beside Lemmy, she is one of the hardest bass players out there. This isn't just some vanity side project, this is a real band. We can't wait to get the album recorded and get out on the road…"
