Los holandeses Textures han empezado a grabar un nuevo disco
Dutch progressive metallers TEXTURES have entered Split Second Sound studios in Amsterdam to begin recording their fourth album for a fall release via Nuclear Blast Records. The as-yet-untitled CD is being produced by TEXTURES guitar player Jochem Jacobs, who helmed all of the band's previous albums.
Commented Jochem: "It's all really exciting! This album is really going to express where and what we are these days....and that's a good thing.
We've been through a lot lately, especially the last year. Now with some new air and fresh ideas, we finally reached the point that we are actually quite confident in the new material.
Sometimes you just have to crawl through the mud first to get to dry grounds.
We are in the middle of the preproduction now, getting our asses in gear...to create this baby. It's kinda cool to see this band grow more and more and to continue this musical journey that we've been on for 10 years!
Let's make this thing heavy!!!"

Escuchado el disco entero...
por un lado esos tiempos entran de primeras genial... y algunos riffs son muy buenos... pero el disco se atraganta.... les falta punch si tenemos en cuenta en el grupo de bandas en el que se les mete.. pero son jodidamente buenos... es un disco de muchisma calidad y de momentos brutales.
el cantante imita al anterior bastante bien, eso no es del todo bueno, porque aunque tiene una voz cojonuda el estilo es muy típico/wannabe.
hay que ir viendo como se digiere en mas escuchas

A la primera me ha entrado. Como dice pro, tiene momentos brutales, pero lo mejor de todo es que estos momentos no son puntuales, sino la tónica del disco.
