El primero de Coldplay está bastante influenciado por Jeff Buckley, si no lo conoces no deberías tardar ni 3 microsegundos en intentar hacerte con su album "Grace".
Y otras 3 bandas que también son de ese estilo, aunque ya no siguen en activo:
- THE PRAYER BOAT
- GENEVA
- THE UNBELIEVABLE TRUTH (liderada por Andy Yorke, hemano de Thom Yorke el de Radiohead, y que me parece tremendamente recomendable)

Si quieres probar muchos grupos, lo mejor es spotify. Es un programa muy sencillo en el que tú le pones el nombre del grupo-canción-album y te salen resultados para poder escuchar online.
Para el que no lo haya probado que le eche un ojo, porque está muy bien. Saludos!
