If the term "nu-rave" became oppressively omnipresent a few years ago, it's mostly because of Klaxons, the young and spazzy British band. Klaxons released "Myths of the Near Future", their call-to-arms debut album, in 2007, and they haven't made much noise since. But on August 24 in the U.S. (August 23 in the UK), the long-awaited follow-up album "Surfing the Void" will finally arrive via Interscope/Downtown.
The band recorded the album in L.A. with producer Ross Robinson, who has produced virtually every big-name nu-metal band in existence but who also has names like the Cure and At the Drive-In on his resume. You can stream the album track "Flashover" over here, and we've got the tracklist below.
