In a post on their official wesbite Enjoyincubus.com they stated: "The album is completed! True to the Incubus legacy, this record is nothing like its predecessor, but still maintains the quintessential Incubus vibe."
In an interview with Noisecreep.com singer Brandon Boyd shed some more light on the record.
"This new record is different from anything that we've done," he said. "It's like that next phase. We're gonna kind of challenge our fans with this one, but I'm excited about that. I think that's what needs to happen."

Estoy negativo hoy, creo que va a seguir siendo un disco como los últimos, canciones de las que no me acordaré a los dos días de haberlas escuchado.
Porque creo que irán al rock progresivo blandito. Ojalá, ojalá, me equivoque.
Yo no confío absolutamente nada, y eso que el disco en solitario de Brandon Boyd no me desagradó del todo

hombre, tampoco te pases... "este tipo de bandas" era muy bueno en sus inicios
Si se refiere a bandas que en sus comienzos eran potentes y que con el éxito se vuelven mansas y empiezan a sacar discos que al final no dejan de ser pajilleros y para "pegar" en la radio, estoy de acuerdo.
Es una de mis bandas favoritas de siempre (desde el SCIENCE, que les conocí) y el último disco, viendo el tipo de música que hacían, me supuso una enooooooorme decepción.
Aún así tienen tres discazos como son SCIENCE, Make yourself y morning view (y pensar que ese último en su día ya me supuso una decepción al volverse más pausados...)
