According to EW.com, Chris Cornell (SOUNDGARDEN, AUDIOSLAVE) and Jerry Cantrell (ALICE IN CHAINS) made an appearance on stage last night (Tuesday, October 6) at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles for the third of four local PEARL JAM shows. Cornell joined Eddie Vedder for "Hunger Strike", thus reforming the complete lineup of Andrew Wood/MOTHER LOVE BONE tribute band TEMPLE OF THE DOG. Cantrell then hopped on stage to close out the night with the guitar solo on "Alive". A posting on the site adds, "When Eddie Vedder, Mike McCready, Jeff Ament, Stone Gossard, Matt Cameron, Jerry Cantrell, and Chris Cornell took a bow arm in arm at the end of the show, it was the sort of rock 'n' roll reunion you pray for as a fan, and, thankfully, it was executed with the sort of musical integrity that makes you glad you took the time in the first place."

Genial acontecimiento, es como si estuviésemos de nuevo en la primera mitad de los 90 con todo el apogeo del grunge. Ver esos videos ha sido un poco como viajar 16 años atrás en el tiempo, y es la segunda vez que me pasa a lo largo de este día. Mi otro viaje en el tiempo ha sucedido haciendo limpieza de trastos, he localizado mi viejo monopatín y a pesar de que los rodamientos ya estaban bastante oxidados no he podido evitar la tentación de dar un mini garbeo en él y hacer un par de ollies. Nostalgia pura y dura, qué difícil es esto de hacerse mayor, jeje.
Por cierto, yo aún tengo alguna esperanza de que Cornell pueda de nuevo ser recuperado para la sociedad.
