El retorno de Atari Teenage Riot

German digital hardcore noisemeisters Atari Teeange Riot’s Alec Empire and bandmate Nic Endo reunited earlier this year. The band broke up in 2000 and member Carl Crack died of a drug overdose on September 6, 2001. With MC CX Kidtronik added to the fold, ATR announced yesterday that they’ve signed with Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak label and will be bringing their chaotic live show to North America this month. In advance of their live dates, they’ve offered up a new track called “Activate!” No word yet on when fans can expect the follow-up to 1999’s 60 Second Wipe Out, but we’ll keep you posted.
